Waitlist
A cancelled slot no longer stays empty
Your client joins the waitlist when they can't find a time. When someone cancels, Calendace alerts them right away and the first one to book gets the slot. You do nothing.
The problem
Every last-minute cancellation costs you the price of the service
A €20 haircut cancelled at eleven for twelve is hard to cover. And if five people asked about that same morning, you have to call them one by one.
An empty slot doesn't come back
An hour without a client is an hour you never get back. In a salon with three professionals, two cancellations a day add up to more than €1,000 a month.
Calling by hand doesn't scale
You keep a list in a notebook or in your head. You call, no answer, you call the next one, and meanwhile you have a client in the chair.
Whoever can't find a time goes elsewhere
If your page says "no availability" and offers nothing else, that client books with a competitor. With the waitlist, they stay and wait for your alert.
How it works, start to finish
Everything happens on your booking page and in the alerts. Neither you nor your team has to step in.
The client joins
When there's no slot on the day they want, your page offers the waitlist: they pick the service, the day, morning or afternoon and, if they like, the professional.
Someone cancels
It doesn't matter whether the client cancels from their alert or you do it from the calendar. As soon as the slot is freed, Calendace checks who was waiting for it.
We alert the first ones on the list
By WhatsApp, SMS, email or the app, depending on what you have enabled. The alert carries a direct link to book that exact slot.
The first to book keeps it
Whoever books leaves the list automatically. The rest keep waiting for the next slot, and you never have to delete anyone.
The rules
Fair to the client, without pestering anyone
Designed so the slot fills fast and nobody waiting gets an alert that's no longer any use.
Three at a time, by seniority
The alert goes to the first three who joined. If nobody has booked within 30 minutes, it moves on to the next three. The slot gets covered without anyone receiving a stale alert.
Only if the slot fits
We alert whoever asked for that service, that day and that shift (morning or afternoon). If the client chose a specific professional, they are only alerted when the slot belongs to that person.
Automatic exit
Whoever gets an appointment for that service leaves the list, whether it came from the alert, from your page or from your calendar. Nobody gets alerts for something they already have.
In your dashboard
One click to turn it on, then it runs itself
A single switch
In Settings, waitlist: enable. From then on your booking page offers it whenever there's no slot.
You see who's waiting
The list is in your dashboard: client, service, day and shift. You can remove someone if they ask you to over the phone.
You choose the channels
In Notifications you decide whether the free-slot alert goes by WhatsApp, SMS, email or the app. App alerts are free and unlimited.
Respects everyone's schedule
The slot is only offered if the professional works at that time and the service fits. We never alert about slots that can't actually be booked.
FAQ
What people usually ask before turning it on

Which plans include the waitlist?
The Standard and Premium plans. On the free plan your booking page works the same, just without the waitlist.
How does the client join?
From your booking page. When there's no slot on the day they want, they get the option to join: service, day, morning or afternoon and, optionally, professional. All they need is their phone and email. No password.
How many people get the alert when a slot opens up?
The first three in order of arrival. If nobody has booked within 30 minutes, the next three are alerted, and so on until the slot is covered or the list runs out.
What if two people try to book the same slot?
The first to confirm keeps it. We tell the second one that the slot is already taken, and they stay on the list for the next one.
Which channel does the alert use?
Whichever you enable in Notifications: WhatsApp, SMS, email or the app. WhatsApp and SMS use credits; email and app alerts cost nothing.
Can the client leave the list?
Yes. In their client area they see their waitlists and can leave whenever they want. And if they get an appointment for that service, they leave automatically.
Where it makes the biggest difference
