Public holidays mark themselves, every year
Calendace knows the national and regional public holidays of your area and closes your booking page on those days. You just add the local ones and decide which ones you open on.
The problem
A holiday you forget is an appointment you can't attend
Every January you go through the calendar and mark the holidays one by one, for each professional. Miss a single one and someone books on a bank holiday.
Bookings on days you don't open
The client books in good faith, you spot it the day before and have to call to cancel. A bad impression and an hour of work lost.
Holidays move around
Easter moves, holidays that fall on a Sunday shift to Monday and every region has its own. It is easy to get one wrong.
Each professional, separately
With ordinary time off you have to mark the holiday for each professional. When someone new joins the team, they are left out.
How it works
Switch it on once and never touch it again. Not even in January.
Flip the switch
In Settings, public holidays. Calendace takes the country and region from your business address and shows you the list for the year.
Review the list
Every holiday has its own checkbox. If you open on a regional holiday, untick it and slots are offered that day like any other.
Add the local ones
Your town's local holidays are in no official calendar. Add them with a name and a date and, if you like, they repeat every year.
Your booking page closes by itself
No slots are offered on those days, for any professional. And not next year either, without you doing anything.

Designed not to get in the way
What was already in your diary is left alone, and if you'd rather open one day, you decide.
Existing appointments stay
If there are already appointments on a holiday when you switch it on, Calendace warns you and keeps them. You decide whether to move them or open that day.
Up to date every year
Holidays that change date and the ones that shift to Monday are worked out automatically. Nothing to review in January.
Works in any country
Public holidays for more than 200 countries, with their regions where they exist: Spain by autonomous community, Germany by federal state.

Which plans include it?
All of them, the free plan too. New businesses have it on from day one; if you already use Calendace, switch it on in Settings whenever you like.
Which holidays are included?
National ones and those of your region. Local holidays of your town are added by you, because there is no reliable official source for all of them.
What if I open on a holiday?
Untick that holiday in the list and slots are offered like on a normal day. It is remembered for the following years.
What happens to appointments I already had that day?
Nothing. They are kept and we tell you how many there are. Only new slots stop being offered.
Does it affect every professional?
Yes. A holiday closes the whole business, without marking it for each employee. If someone wants to work that day, untick the holiday and that's it.
Does it work outside Spain?
Yes. Calendace knows the public holidays of more than 200 countries. Choose the country and, if it has regions, yours.
