Commission-free
Every appointment you do, yours in full
Calendace doesn't take a cut of your work. You pay a flat fee each month, or nothing at all if the free plan is enough for you. Twenty appointments or two thousand, it makes no difference.
Do the maths
A commission isn't an expense: it's a partner
With a flat fee you know what you pay. With a commission, your bill grows exactly when business is good.
A commission punishes you for working more
The more appointments you close, the more you pay. Your best month for takings is also the month the tool costs you most.
A flat fee is predictable
In January you already know what you'll pay in December. You can put it in your numbers and forget about it.
No hidden surprises
Your subscription covers every feature in your plan. The only thing on the side is SMS and WhatsApp messages, with credit packs you buy only if you use them.
No middleman
Your client searches for you on Google and books. That is it.
Every step you remove between "I want an appointment" and "appointment made" is a booking that does not get lost on the way.
They find you where they already look for you
Your booking page gets indexed on Google and shows up on your Google Maps listing. Whoever types the name of your salon lands on your page, not on a salon search engine.
One click, not four
On a marketplace your client goes into the platform, searches for you inside it, picks a service and sometimes creates an account. Here they open your link and book. Fewer steps, fewer people dropping out halfway.
No competition right beside you
On a marketplace, the screen your client is looking at also shows the salons on your street, with their prices and their offers. On your page there is only you.
No app to install
Your client does not have to download anything or remember another password. It opens in the browser and that is that.
Your clients
The question almost nobody asks: whose client is it?
On a marketplace, the client arrives at the platform
Your salon is one more listing inside a search engine that also has the place next door. The client gets loyal to the app, not to you.
With your own page, the client arrives at you
Your link, your name, your photos, your services. Nobody else is competing on that screen.
And if you leave one day, you take them with you
Your client records, with their appointment history, export to a file. We are never going to use your client list for anything else.
Compare
Calendace versus a booking marketplace
The difference isn’t in the features. It’s in who owns the client.
| Compare | With Calendace | With a marketplace |
|---|---|---|
| Commission per new client | None. Flat fee or free plan. | A cut of the first ticket of every client who arrives through the platform. |
| Who owns the client | You do. Profile, history and contact details, all exportable. | The platform does. It rents them to you. |
| Competition | Your page, your business only. | Your listing, surrounded by salons bidding for the same client. |
| Reminders | WhatsApp, SMS and email, in your name. | Branded by the platform. |
| Cost as you grow | The same: neither appointments nor your team make the plan cost more. | It grows with you: more new clients or more employees, the more you pay. |
What people ask us about this
Is there really no commission of any kind?
No. Not per booking, not per new client, not per payment. You pay for your plan and that is it.
So where's the catch with the free plan?
There's no catch, there are limits: 20 bookings a month, up to 50 clients, one service and one professional, with email notifications. If your business grows, you'll outgrow it and move to a paid plan. That's the model.
Can I use Calendace and stay on a marketplace at the same time?
Yes, plenty of people start that way. Put your Calendace link on your Instagram and on your Google listing, and leave the marketplace for whoever discovers you there. Over time you will see how much already comes to you directly.
What if I want to charge upfront or take a deposit?
Today Calendace doesn't handle online payments: you get paid the way you get paid now, in your salon. To cut no-shows you have the automatic reminders, manual approval of bookings and blocking the clients who stand you up.
