Comparison
Calendace vs Booksy
Both of them fill your diary. The difference is how much you pay each month, how much that grows with your team, and whose client the person booking is.

The maths
Four times less a month, for the same job
With three professionals on the team, the difference is 38 € a month: 456 € a year, excluding VAT. That is a day's wages or half a week of rent.
Your team does not make the software more expensive
On Booksy every person who joins your team adds 8 € a month. With Calendace the Standard Plan covers three and Premium has no limit: hiring does not push up your bill.
Boost is client acquisition, and it is priced like it
30 % of the first visit is not outrageous in itself: it is the price of a marketplace bringing you someone who had never heard of you. The question is how many of your new clients come from there and how many were already looking for you by name.
You can try it without leaving Booksy
Open a free account, put your link on your Instagram and on your Google listing, and watch for a month how many bookings come to you directly. You decide with that number.
Where they beat us
They have a marketplace with its own traffic
The Booksy app has millions of users looking for somewhere to get their hair cut. We do not have that, and we are not going to pretend we do. If you depend on being discovered by people who have never heard of you, that channel is worth something.
They take card payments inside their own app
Booksy has payments, a card terminal and prepayment built in. Calendace does not handle online payments today: you get paid in your salon, as always.
They have been around longer and they are bigger
More features, more integrations and a much bigger team behind it. We do fewer things, and the ones we do we want understood without a manual.
When each one makes sense
Booksy, if your problem is that nobody knows you
You have just opened, you are in a busy spot and you need new people to discover you. You pay more each month and 30 % of the first visits, but you are buying access to a shop window that already has an audience.
Calendace, if your problem is organising the clients you already have
You have a client base, they come to you through Instagram, Google and word of mouth, and what you have too much of is calls in the middle of a cut and gaps that stay empty. You pay 12,99 € and you keep everything else.
Try it for a month and compare the bill
Free account, no card and no lock-in. You do not have to cancel anything to try it.
